Douglas Marsh, Manitoba
Inventories and Monitoring

Join us for an evening of learning and birding at Douglas Marsh, where we’ll be surveying at-risk marsh birds such as the elusive Yellow Rail!

First, meet at the Douglas Community Hall for an expert talk on Yellow Rails and their conservation. NCC is proud to be partnering with Manitoba’s Important Bird Areas Program for this exciting presentation!

Following the talk, we will travel to NCC’s Douglas Marsh project to conduct an evening bird survey, looking and listening for the birds of the marsh.

Carpooling to the Marsh from Douglas Community Hall will be arranged on site. If you’re interested in carpooling to Douglas with other volunteers, please click here. Happy travels!
