Infrastructure / Site Cleanup
It’s time for our 4th annual NCC staff Chili Cook-off and we need YOU to be the judge! As a thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for lending their support and hard work, we’ve arranged a special thank you day (with very little work). If you’ve volunteered for NCC this year, you’re invited! Please note that space and food are limited, so please RSVP. Drop in between 11 am and 2 pm. Chili judging will begin at 12:30 pm.
Please specify any dietary restrictions/allergies you may have within the registration form so event coordinators are aware and can do their best to accommodate.
Don’t worry northern Alberta folks, we’ll be planning an appreciation event up your way in the coming months!

Just a short trip outside of Calgary, this property is home to moose, elk and a variety of bird species, including the iconic mountain bluebird. The Connop family, who originally owned the property, began ranching in the Bragg Creek area in 1919, acquiring this piece of land in 1960 before donating it to the Nature Conservancy of Canada so it can be forever preserved through conservation. What you will be doing
There are a few small activities that volunteers can partake in, such as building vegetation frames out of PVC pipe, filling a large scale bee hotel, or removing a very, very small section of fence. Otherwise, we'll be enjoying each others company and reflecting on the 2017 season. Why you will love it
For once, we promise we won't crack the whip. This event is about doing a little work and having fun. Not to mention you have the opportunity to take part in our annual NCC Staff Chili Cook Off! Need I say more?Questions?
