Infrastructure / Site Cleanup
You are invited to take part in a shoreline clean-up of the Richelieu River, which will help maintain the river’s important ecosystem for endangered species of fish, including the Copper Redhorse!

The Richelieu River offers quality habitat for a few endangered species of fish such as the Copper Redhorse.
What you will be doingYou will be bending and kneeling to remove light-weight waste from the islands' shorelines.
Why you will love itEnjoy some fresh air while exploring a riparian habitat and learning more about Quebec's rare species in the area.

The event is limited to 10 participants. Event is open to people over the age of 16. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Sunday August 4th.
Details will be provided to registrants a few days before the event regarding the meeting point.
Ticks could be present on the properties.

While we do our best to provide you with the tools you need to participate, please bring the following items if you have them:
- Closed-toe footwear
- Long pants
- Long shirt
- Layers of clothing (light sweater and jacket)
- Sun hat
- Rain gear
- Personal flotation device
- 1 Litre of water in a reusable bottle
- Lunch
- Insect repellent
- Sunscreen
- Any necessary medications
