About Harlingten Property (Waterton)

Just north of the Crooked Creek Campground, Harlingten is a gorgeous 119 acres (48 ha.) property that sits along the Waterton River. This transitional zone is shared between grasslands and mountain ranges, boasting approximately 1000 different species of plants and home to large carnivores such as Grizzly Bears, Gray Wolves and Wolverines.

What you will be doing

You'll be pulling weeds from a new reclamation site on our Harlingten property. This will prevent invasive species from wreaking havoc on the area's natural wetlands, and help strengthen the native ecosystem.

Why you will love it

Spend the day at a beautiful location, surrounded by friendly faces and fresh air. Throughout the event, learn from our Natural Area Manager all about habitat reclamation and the ecological significance of this region!
