In the heart of the Laurentians is the Richardson Property, a 219 hectare land protected by the Nature Conservancy of Canada and Conservation Manitou.
The protection of this natural area contributes to the maintenance of an East-West ecological corridor by providing connectivity for wildlife species with large home range present in the area.
Many species of wildlife and plants are found on the property due to the variety of habitats present (wetlands, streams, ponds, forests, deep valley and lakes).
