Inventories and Monitoring
Get outside with NCC this winter and end the year with a bird! Join us as we partner with the Audubon Society and the 119th Christmas Bird Count (CBC). This is just one of many events happening across North America this winter.
We will be conducting our survey around James Bay. This is a great way to get outside this winter, have some fun and spot new birds. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to birding or an experienced birder, this event is for you!
If you are interested in carpooling (providing a ride or looking for a ride), please add your name to the list here.

Why you will love itYou'll be joining tens of thousands of birders across North America in contributing to a 100+ year effort to collect consistent information on winter bird distribution. Not to mention spending a day watching birds, meeting new people and exploring!
