This 635 hectare (1,570 ac.) property is part of a network of conservation projects based in the Waterton Natural Area. Made up of grasslands, aspen-conifer forests and wetlands, the area’s diverse features attract a wide range of wildlife, including western toad, grizzly bear, Baltimore oriole and gray wolf. The lot acts as a buffer for the biologically sensitive Waterton Lakes National Park, bordering its eastern side in conjunction with other conserved lands.
