Centre Creek Conservation Area (Surrey)

Located in the north end of the City of  Surrey, this 7.7 hectare (19 ac.) conservation area protects a portion of Centre Creek and other small brooks, which meander through the dense coastal western hemlock forest and out into the lower Fraser River. Together with the neighbouring protected areas, including the Surrey Bend Regional Park, the area plays an important role in a larger wetland complex, which provides rearing habitat for Pacific salmon, trout, and other native fish species.
