Located 2 km south of Riding Mountain National Park, this property is named after the creek that passes through it. With forested ridges and willow-covered lowlands, the area is well traveled by black bears, elk, gray wolves, and moose. This 52 hectare (130 ac.) plot of land is a part of the Riding Mountain Biosphere Reserve, an UNESCO-backed conservation initiative.
NCC acquired Clear Creek with the assistance of the Government of Canada’s Natural Areas Conservation Program (NACP), a unique public-private partnership to accelerate the pace of land conservation across southern Canada.
