Darkwoods

Encompassing  630 square kilometres, Darkwoods’ size IS its significance. Located in the rugged South Selkirk mountain range, Darkwoods secures vital habitat for large mammals such as grizzly bear, wolverine, moose, elk and deer. The property’s extensive network of rivers and lakes helps to protect water quality in the region, and supports a plethora of birds, fish, insects, amphibians and reptiles.
