Dundurn (Saskatoon)

This 160 acre (65 ha.) property is located in the Saskatoon Prairie Natural Area, just 5 km west of the town of Dundurn. Made up of native prairie, aspen forests and sand dunes, the area hosts several threatened species, including the hairy prairie clover and Sprague’s pipit. The plot is directly adjacent to the Dundurn military base.

NCC acquired Dundurn with the assistance of the Government of Canada’s Natural Areas Conservation Program (NACP), a unique public-private partnership to accelerate the pace of land conservation across southern Canada.
