Fairy Hill (Regina)

Only 40 km north of Regina, this multi-property complex is made up of 1,642 acres (665 ha.) of native grasslands, woodlands, and wetlands that serve as important habitats for a diversity of wildlife. Species that have been recorded on the property include the at-risk yellow rail and bobolink, alongside the American beaver and bigmouth buffalo fish (which can live to be up to 110 years old).

These landscapes will remain protected for the future through our purchase of the property from its conservation-minded landowner, Dorothy Schuurmans, and a generous donation from Lloyd and Janet Sauer.
