Johnston’s Pond

Johnston’s Pond, between Shelburne and Liverpool, is an intact and largely undeveloped estuary containing excellent representative ecosystems, rare and endangered species habitat and some spectacular views! NCC has secured nearly 380 acres of beach habitat and forest surrounding the estuary. This site is also an important area for migrating birds and the endangered piping plover.
