The Raymond M. Goodall Nature Preserve lies along the south shore of Salt Spring Island. The conservation area spans the shoreline, coastal bluffs and Coastal Douglas-fir forest. These ecosystems support disproportionately high levels of biodiversity in comparison to other ecosystems in coastal British Columbia, contributing significantly to the richness of flora and fauna in the Gulf Islands.
