This property supports 126 acres of forest, successional habitat and alvar, including chinquapin oak and red cedar treed alvar, a community unique to Pelee Island. It provides habitat for a variety of native species, including several species at risk such as blue ash, common hoptree, prairie rose and, possibly, grey fox.
