The Severn Woodlands Nature Reserve is a 600 acre property north of Orillia near Coldwater, Ontario. The property contains a matrix of forest, wetland and rock barren habitats and is home to many species at risk including numerous rare birds such as eastern whip-poor-will, Canada warbler, barn swallow, bobolink and wood thrush. The northeast portion of the property is a largely undisturbed, beautiful mosaic of swamp, marsh and water-lily-filled wetlands.
